OUR PROGRAMS
United Way Readers
At United Way of South Central Illinois, we are excited to introduce United Way Reads, a new initiative dedicated to supporting teachers in enhancing or building their classroom libraries. Through this program, teachers can request up to 10 specific books they need for their students. As soon as we receive these donated books, we will notify the requesting teachers via email, ensuring they have the resources needed to foster a love of reading among their students.
